Heart and Soul of Eddy’s Motel

Shadow Rider and Wildflower came to Eddy’s late summer of 2009. Having lived in several areas throughout the States, they were both pulled toward the northwest, and the Mountains of Montana where they feel most at home. They brought to Eddy’s varied work and life experiences which contribute well to the challenges they meet in running a small motel.
Wildflower likes the quaintness felt by being in an older motel (circa 1940’s). Each room is different, offering the opportunity to make individual rooms feel homey. Some of our doubles have the 2nd bed in a cozy nook.
Shadow sees Eddy’s as a work in progress. Older buildings need constant upkeep, but by accomplishing just little things, he knows the guests are comfortable.
Lozen and Skadie, the motel canines are sometimes around to greet lodgers as well. Having been raised in the motel environment, they are always happy to see new faces.
Shadow and Wildflower enjoy the variety of people that come as guests. From one nighters, to folks who rent by a week or month, from construction workers to travelers from all over the world, Eddy’s welcome’s those needing lodging.
